Case Management and Counselling Team

The Family Relationship Service Program has been established to assist refugee communities by supporting individuals and families to address personal, cultural, ethnic and social challenges.

SMRC also provides counselling, family support and cross-cultural parenting courses. We refer clients to other agencies to assist with material aid, legal issues, housing and integration support, and family disputes.

The team offers educational sessions to groups to develop skills relevant to living in Australia. We also run a refugee men's group with activities to support and assist men in their role in the family.
