Standing in unison for gender equality

SMRC is thrilled to host the International Women’s Day Luncheon in recognition of the #morepowerfultogether message for gender equality paying tribute to some truly inspiring heroes:

  • Moira Rayner – Commissioner, Lawyer, Solicitor and Tribunal member – and a woman of brilliance who has fought hard for the ‘Human Right’ that everyone should be able to receive a fair go.
  • Dr Melika Yassin Sheikh-Eldin, Manager Settlement Partnerships, AMES. Melika is a woman of conviction who has built bridges and roadways for new arrived refugees (women) so they are empowered within their community. A settlement manager for AMES Australia, her words and wisdom have taken her to UNHCR Conferences in Geneva from 2007 to 2011 and participated in the 2011 UNHCR Women’s Dialogue in Jordan.
  • Ms Debbie Lee- Motivational Speaker, Empowered to Speak. Debbie can lift a room full of people and make them feel inspired and empowered to face any challenge in life. A migrant, a mother and a mentor to many, Debbie will share that wisdom on what can be achieved when we work together.

Hear their inspirational stories. Enjoy the opportunity to unite, network and be inspired. Stay for a culturally inspired lunch.

This is a FREE event, held on the grounds at our Dandenong Office – 39 Clow St.
